Six or seven gahh! I can't decide which to use six elements or seven? The six elements would be fire, ice(water), earth(stone), air(wind), light, and shadow. or i can add a seventh element called void. Some help would be really nice here. its kind of central to a bunch of linked short storys I am going to start writing once I sort out a few important things like building the world. Any way this is the reason its so important i fugure out my elements.

fourteen who are both death within and death without.
fourteen mortal creatures of primal fury and elemental rage.
two shall be as liquid flame.
and two shall be as burning ice.
two shall be as falling stones.
and two shall be as walls of wind.
two shall be as blinding darkness.
and two shall be as shadowed light.
and two who are as sun and moon.
I don't know why. I don't know how. I only know I must, and take them north and east...

personally I kind of like having 7 elements but I am not sure if that ominous passage works better with six or seven.
